MINI USA supports Ryan's MINI
Shortly after the launch of Ryan’s MINI Adventure, MINI USA, a division of BMW of North America, discovered Ryan's website and reached out to her family with a heartfelt request for a Ryan's MINI to join in on their adventures.
From car shows to the Olympics in Rio and Sochi, and even to the 50th Anniversary celebration of MINI Cooper in England, MINI USA took Ryan’s spirit and her favorite car to places she would have adored. Their involvement not only honored Ryan’s memory but also played a significant role in helping her family begin the healing process.
In a touching display of compassion, MINI USA organized a fundraising event at their New Jersey headquarters to honor Ryan’s life, all without her family’s knowledge. During this special week, they auctioned off Ryan’s MINI Adventure items designed by MINIBee’s to their employees.
During a heartfelt celebration at Ryan’s local MINI dealer, her family was presented with a check to be donated to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society in her memory. The remaining contributions were designated for a special journey: a trip for Ryan’s family to the MINI Cooper Factory in Oxford, England, where they would enjoy an exclusive tour of the auto plant. As if that wasn’t enough, MINI USA collaborated with their graphics vendor to provide the family with vinyl graphics to transform their life-sized MINI Cooper S into an exact replica of Ryan’s beloved car.
